WE FUND & RUN SUSTAINABLE PROJECTS
$333 million awarded for global service initiatives in 2020-21
Our Cause
Promoting peace
Rotary fosters understanding across cultures. We train adults and young leaders to prevent and mediate conflict and help refugees who have fled dangerous areas.
Fighting disease
We are resolved to rid the world of polio forever. We also educate and equip communities to stop other diseases and expand access to health care.
Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
We help bring sustainable clean water, sanitation, and hygiene to more people every day. We don’t just build wells and walk away.
Saving mothers and children
We expand access to quality medical care, sanitation, education and economic opportunities so mothers and their children can live and grow stronger.
Supporting education
Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy.
Growing local economies
We carry out service projects that enhance economic and community development and create opportunities for decent and productive work for young and old.
Protecting the environment
Rotary members are tackling environmental issues the way they always do: coming up with projects, using their connections to change policy and planning for the future.
What is Rotaract?
Rotaract Club Klerksdorp is the ultimate blend of camaraderie and community impact!
Picture this: a vibrant gathering of individuals aged 18 and older, coming together to not only exchange brilliant ideas with local leaders but also to turbocharge their leadership and professional skills. And guess what? We do all this while having an absolute blast through service projects!

Hi, my name is Brian! 🐻
I grew up in Klerksdorp, South Africa, and was adopted by the Rotary Club of Klerksdorp.
I travel the world spreading kindness and connection — and all I ask is simple:
If I stay with you for a few days, please feed me and donate any amount to the Rotary Club of Klerksdorp.
Together, we can make a difference — one stop, one meal, and one act of kindness at a time.
